Science Week

When we did science week, we did science projects. This is the 2nd project we did. I made a lens by filling a bag with water. Things look ,well, bigger. They look bigger because the water is bending the light. The bag was leaking. Every once in a while, we would put it on the towel. Eben and I held it up to our eyes. I don't know why, but we had to punch out a circle with a butterfly on it. I love science week. 

My date with Dada

As soon as I got twenty special helper rockets, I decided what I was going too do. I was going to go boot  shopping with Dada! I had to wait two days to go on my date. I really wanted new boots, because my old ones were worn out. Dada took me to indian food for dinner. After dinner, we went boot shopping. We went to two different stores. I  got my boots at the second store. After we went boot shopping, we went to the store and got some ice cream.

 When I came home, I opened my boots.

1-3 Holy Week

We want to celebrate Easter longer, so we are doing Holy week. 

First, we do Palm Sunday. We cut ferns as palm branches. Then sang songs in praise to God.

This is us waving palm branches. It was very fun.

On the second day of Holy week, it was cleaning the temple day. We got to play with the temple.

On the third day, we said what question we would ask God if he came to our house. Opal asked if he could come into her life. Then, she asked him in! I'm so glad my little sister is a Christian. Even though I can only tell you this much, I love Holy week, and I think you will to if you try it!

The Scavenger Hunt To The Easter Basket

This Easter, we had one big Easter basket. But we had to go on a scavenger hunt to it. 

These are the pictures.  

First, we had to find a clue in a tree.

This was near the play toy. It was in back of it.

This was in the new bird's nest. It was on the slope.

This was one spring on the trampoline. It was really hard finding the right spring.

This, well, Jasper found it.

Then finally, we found a picture of a wheel. 

We matched it up.

I peeked in, and saw the basket. Then I showed Eben. He saw it too.

Then we took it out and went inside.

It was super fun.

Saint Patrick's Day

On Saint Patricks Day, we had a lot of fun. For breakfast, we had clover pancakes.

Reagan and Pipa came over. Berg gave them all the baby toys. 

We made a clover garland. It was a lot of fun.

Eben made the words God the Father, God the Son and God the Holy Spirit.

Opal's Birthday

At Opal's birthday we did a lot of stuff. 

This is her cake. Opal enjoyed eating it.

There was as an Opal mine too. These are the kids finding jewels.

We made boxes too. This is a picture of the little kids painting.

And then we all sang happy birthday.

After that, Opal opened her presents.

After that,we took a group picture. It was Opal's favorite day.

The Amazing Pella!

Poem

Pella is cute.I love her. She is chubby . She is funny.

On the day Pella was born, we didn't know she was here, but then we found out. Nonnie told us to sit on the couch. We asked if Pella was born yet. Nonnie said Mama would tell us. Then Mama came up holding Pella. I got to hold her first.

 A few months later, we dedacaded Pella too the LORD.

I love Pella.  She is the best baby. I cannot wait till she is older.
